Eagle the Bold Lawlessness

Updated: 2 days ago

Eagle the Bold—a boastful leader whose blunders shake the forest. From tariff tantrums to lawless leaps and environmental spills, his boldness without care leaves chaos in its wake. Through wit and whimsy, the tale reminds us that true leadership listens, lifts, and learns. Both timely and timeless, it speaks to readers young and old about the power—and peril—of unchecked pride.

In a canopy throne made of twigs trimmed in gold,Perched Eagle the Bold, so daring, so bold.He called from the clouds, “I’m the best in the land! The forest needs fixing—I have the plan!”

His feathers were polished, his voice full of flair,But boldness, dear reader, is not always care. For boldness with bluster and zero review—Can tumble the trees and uproot what is true.

So gather in close—let's count, if you please,The boldest of blunders, in threes and in threes…

Refrain:For boldness alone can crumble the crown—A leader must lift, not just shout down.

🌐 1. The Bold Bluff on the Tariff Tree

“I’ll teach Tigers a lesson,” cried Eagle with pride,“Let’s slap on a tariff so wide it’s worldwide!A hundred and forty-five percent, that’s the key! That’ll fix trade—just follow bold me!

But stocks tumbled downward, the branches went bare,The nest eggs of elders blew off in the air.At NutStreet Bank, chipmunks lost all their stash,And whispers of panic rustled the ash.

The beavers went silent, the badgers grew glum,While Eagle squawked loudly, “Just look what we’ve done!”He backpedaled swiftly with barely a blink,“Wait—I didn’t say that! Must’ve misheard, I think!”

But the vines whispered truths, as forests will do:“Bold without balance can bankrupt you.”

For boldness alone can crumble the crown—A leader must lift, not just shout down.

⚖️ 2. The Bold Disregard for the Rulebook

Now Kilmar the Deer had been told he could stay—By Owl Talon’s court, in a wise, lawful way.But Eagle the Bold said, “Too slow! Too soft-spun!I make the decisions—this deer’s on the run.”

Pip the young Clerk, with feathers all puffed,Stood firm and declared, “Sir, enough is enough! The law is our lantern! We can’t look away!If boldness defies it, what rules will still stay?”

But Eagle just waved a dismissive old wing,And Kilmar was taken without a fair hearing. The Buzzards, of course, filed a formal delay:"We'll investigate more... another fine day."

And the saplings all shivered, from burrow to brook:“If boldness breaks rules, who will write the next book?”

For boldness alone can crumble the crown—A leader must lift, not just shout down.

🌊 3. The Bold Undoing of the River’s Shield

Eagle the Bold flapped with thunder and speed:“These river laws slow us—let’s pull every weed!Too many restrictions, too many delays!I’ll clear them all out—we’ll blaze newer ways!

So the shield was removed, and the poisons crept in,While fish gasped for air with a twitch of their fin.Mississippi, the great winding water of blue,Turned murky and thick with a chemical hue.

Maple the Goose called a council that night,With frogs, foxes, and turtles who'd lost every right. She honked with resolve: “We must make this right!Clean waters mean life—not a profit-bought blight!”

But Eagle just soared, unaware of the toll—While pollution swam deep into burrow and shoal.

For boldness alone can crumble the crown—A leader must lift, not just shout down.

🕊️ Final Feathered Truth

So now when you wander the forest floor wide,And hear someone boast with enormous pride,Think not just of strength, or being quite bold—But of wisdom, and care, and promises told.

For boldness alone can destroy or inspire,Depending on whether it quenches or fires. So lead with your heart, with your listening ear—And you’ll earn a boldness that’s rooted in cheer.

And remember this lesson, both tiny and tall:A forest stands strong when it listens to all.
