The Great Creamtop Rescue

When Sweet Hollow’s beloved mountain begins to melt into a sticky, swirling mess, the critters must band together for a daring rescue. A playful, heartwarming fable about teamwork, change, and caring for the world we love.

In the land of Sweet Hollow, where gumdrops would grow,

Stood Creamtop the Mountain, all sherbet and snow.

Its peaks were vanilla, its cliffs made of cream,

With chocolate-chip rivers that sparkled and gleamed.

The critters of Hollow — the Frogs and the Bears,

The Squirrels in tutus, the Puffins with flares —

Would shimmy and twirl at the Sherbet Parade,

Singing songs of the cold in marshmallow shade.

But one sunny morning, the sky wore a frown,

And the sun stuck its tongue out to sizzle the town!

It poked at the mountain with long sticky rays,

And Creamtop, dear Creamtop, began to amaze.

The rivers turned runny, the peaks lost their puff,

The Fudge Falls exploded — a gooey brown PUFF!

The critters all gasped as a caramel slide

Launched Sleepy Old Toad for a twelve-acre ride!

"Oh jellybeans!" cried a Bear in a hat,

(While chasing his marshmallow crown where it sat!)

"My marshmallow mansion is melting down flat!"

"My sprinkles! My sprinkles!" squeaked Sassy the Squirrel,

As she zipped through the fudge in a whirl and a twirl!

Whipped-cream whirlpools spun with a roar,

As Sleepy Old Toad floated back to the shore.

(He yawned and mumbled, "Five more minutes, please,"

While blocking the caramel flood with his knees!)

Old Owl, who slept in a coconut clock,

Woke up with a blink and surveyed the shock.

"When fudge flows uphill, plant trees at the root!"

She hooted with glee from her marshmallow chute.

"The Firefox wagons!" she added with flair,

"And Smokey Joe’s Chimney — they’re warming the air!"

"They’re puffing and huffing warm smoke to the skies,

And cooking poor Creamtop like cinnamon pies!"

The critters all blinked, then they huddled in heaps,

As chocolate-chip rivers swirled round their boot-deeps.

"We’ll fix it!" croaked Frogs, "We’ll flip the whole town!"

Puffins flapped high and tossed seeds all around.

"We’ll patch it! We’ll plant it! We'll clean up this goo!"

Sassy squeaked, "Save the sprinkles — and Creamtop too!"

They painted their wagons in peppermint stripes,

They planted tall treetops with rooty-pat types,

They zipped on small scooters and bubblegum bikes,

And cheered as the sherbet grew back on the pikes!

Now every Sweet Hollow critter can say:

"To save what you love, you must change your own way!"

Did You Know?

Did you know that Earth has real “Creamtops” — giant glaciers and ice sheets — that are melting today because the world is getting warmer?

Just like in Sweet Hollow, smoke from cars, factories, and fires traps heat around the planet. This extra heat makes snow, ice, and even whole mountains melt faster than they used to!

But here’s the good news:

• People all over the world are working together to help.

• Planting trees (just like the critters!)

• Using clean energy from the sun and wind

• Riding bikes, scooters, and sharing rides

• Finding new ways to keep our air and Earth healthy

Even small helpers can make a big difference — just like in Sweet Hollow!
